Every night the fire would fly and swirl and spin. My favorite time on the playa was at night, when flames illuminate the cracked desert floor.

Shot and edited by yours truly.

If you haven’t checked out Black Rock TV, the Burning Man podcast I produced with Pat the Digital Vagabond, then you clearly should seek medical attention.
Any Burners going to Burning Man 2010!?

expeditionLIFE reminiscence

31 Dec

expeditionLIFE was Bridget and I’s first foray into the then burgeoning world of social media. YouTube was a baby, videos looked crappy and Twitter was a mere whisper on the wind.
We documented and tried our best to edit and upload on the road in Southeast Asia until fire ants ate our computer. If you get a chance, hop on our expeditionLIFE YouTube channel and sneak a peak at some of our first internet videos.

TAKING IT EVEN FURTHER BACK INTO THE FUTURE, HERE IS ONE OF OUR FIRST VIDEOS, FEATURING FOOTAGE OF OUR 2.5 MONTH HONEY MOON IN COSTA RICA.

These were the days when blogging was hard to pronounce and Myspace was the undisputed social network. Now, 2.5 years later between Bridget and I we have produced over 200 videos, thousands of pictures and scores of blogs. Finishing off this first decade of the 21st century it is good to look back and see how far we have gone.

Hey beautiful blog friends, check my latest baby MTV : an ever growing compilation of the dopest travel related vids on the inter-thingy.

I spent October prepping MTV for this launch, I suspect it will claim its rightful place on the throne to benevolently rule the land of travel media.

Hop on, tweet up, comment, stumble rumble and let the foundations crumble leaving your fingers numble, nimble, like the the harmonics of a cymbal.
